"Use your weakness; aspire to strength."

-Sir Lawrence Olivier

Even if human beings are expected to do great things in their life time, as a human person also, our bodies can too feel exhaustion. We all have our very own weaknesses where in certain things make us feel so fragile and vulnerable. As one of the great philosophers, Rene Descartes, has said that

(Descrtes Philosphy: Meditation 6) "God exists and affirm Reality", which means that we are a product of chance, not by design.

Therefore, we are imperfect as a person. By being imperfect humans, we commit errors and oftentimes deceived; therefore, we become delicate people.

If you would ask me what my weakness is, without thinking, I would answer right away: "Math!", with whole conviction. But as I was pondering deeper while writing this blog, I realized that my weakness and my strength is no two different things, hence it is just one: My Family.

I know that's quite weird and there's probably a ton of queries in your mind.

What?

Is that even possible?

The thing that makes her strong maker her weak, at the same time?

Nonsense.

But, hey! This is Philosophy. My professor told us that WONDERING =THINKING and Thinking is EXISTING.

"Cogito Ergo Sum" which means "I think, therefore I am."

See, I have just proved your existence!

But kidding aside, my family is really my weakness and strength.

My biggest weakness is losing them, which would really cause the bane of my existence. The thought of seeing my parents being sick and on the verge of their death makes me so weak and helpless. They, particularly my parents, have been my guide all my life. And for my sister, the thought of seeing us grow apart in the future would really hurt me so bad. She is my only sister and she was the first person to become my inspiration. Soon enough, when my parents depart this world, she would be the only strength left for me, so I can rebuild myself again. That's why losing her presence would surely thorn me into pieces.

At the same time, my family is also my strength. My dad's persistence and perseverance to keep on working to provide us a good life is where I get the drive to study harder and surpass all the challenges that life has to give. My mom is actually the toughest girl I know. Her patience for us, her care, and her unconditional love is the one that honed me to what I am now. They are the reason why I wake up everyday. They are the reason why I choose to surpass the challenges that life has to give. They are the reason why I keep fighting and why I want to be a doctor someday. The most promising title: "Medical Doctor" would probably be the most bitter road I will take, but it could also be the sweetest gift I can ever give to my parents and my family who raised me, who accepted my flaws, who cared for me and loved every piece of me.

And for them, God may be glorified!
